There is no form here and no phone number, on purpose. Email leaves you a written record of exactly what we told you, which matters when the subject is a medicine with real contraindications. One address reaches the people who actually run the house.
The short answer: write to support@eclmedia.agency about anything. Medical questions get routed to the physician, everything else is answered by the coordinator who will still be your contact if you eventually sit with us.
Read by the resident team on the Osa Peninsula. Write in English or Spanish. If you would rather send one long message than exchange five short ones, do that, and we will answer all of it in one reply.
The house address goes out with your confirmation, not before. It is a working retreat with guests in residence most weeks, so we do not publish it or accept visits.
Costa Rica keeps Central Standard Time all year and does not observe daylight saving, so we match Chicago in winter and sit an hour behind it in summer.
During a retreat week the team is with the twelve guests who are already here. Your reply may take an extra day or two, and that is the same attention you would get in their place.
Most first emails say only “please send me information”, which forces us to reply with a generic answer you could have read on the site. These four lines let us answer the actual question.
Not an exact date. Knowing the season tells us which weeks are open and whether the dieta window is realistic from where you live.
If yes, roughly how many times and with whom. It changes which retreat we recommend and it changes the tone of the answer entirely.
Name and dose. The physician can usually tell you taper, full stop or no issue in one reply, before you spend an hour on the application.
The most useful line in the email. It is almost always the question the rest of the website failed to answer, and we would rather hear it than guess.
You do not need to be polished. Several of the best conversations we have had started with a paragraph that apologised for rambling. Write it badly and send it; we would rather have the real question than a tidy one.
Medical questions are the slowest thing we do and we are not going to pretend otherwise. A clinician reads them, not a coordinator with a template.
| If you write about | Who answers | Typical reply |
|---|---|---|
| Dates, availability, what a week includes | Retreat coordinator | Within 48 hours |
| Price, payment plans, what is included | Retreat coordinator | Within 48 hours |
| A submitted application | Physician, then coordinator | Within 48 hours |
| Medication, tapers, contraindications | Physician | 3 to 5 working days |
| Whether Costa Rica or Peru suits you | Integration lead | 2 to 4 working days |
| Anything during a live retreat week | Whoever is free | Add a day or two |
| Press, partnership, supplier enquiries | House manager | Up to 10 working days |
If you have waited longer than the time above, resend the same email rather than assuming you were ignored. Occasionally a reply lands in spam, and that is a filter problem rather than an answer.
No drip campaign, no “just checking in”, no calendar link. If you email and then go quiet, we assume you decided against it and you will not hear from us again unless you write back.
There is a conversation with your integration lead, but it happens after a physician has cleared you, not before. Nobody here is compensated for converting you.
What you write about medication is read by the physician and the two leads. It is never shared outside the clinical team and never used in marketing, testimonials or case studies.
If the Osa is wrong for you, we will name one of our Peru houses or a center we do not own. We run five houses, so pointing you at a better fit costs us nothing.
This inbox is not a crisis line and is not monitored overnight or at weekends. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis service in your country now. In the United States and Canada, call or text 988. We would rather you get help tonight than wait 48 hours for an email from Costa Rica.
Where ayahuasca, Kambo and Bufo sit in a week, per medicine screening, and the combinations we refuse.
Read servicesThe resident team, the Shipibo maestros, why we opened on the Osa, and the one in five we decline.
Read about usOpen weeks, what $5,800 covers, the payment plans, and the full screening list before you apply.
See dates and priceConsidering Peru instead? Our other houses are Cusco, Pisac and Iquitos, with an overview at Peru Ayahuasca Retreats. Same team, same screening, different altitude.
Because a form teaches you nothing about who you are writing to, and a phone call rewards whoever is more persuasive in the moment. Email leaves you a written record of exactly what we told you, which matters when the subject is a medicine with real contraindications. Write to support@eclmedia.agency and a person on the resident team answers.
General questions about dates, price or payment plans are usually answered within 48 hours. Medical and medication questions take three to five working days, because the physician reads them rather than a coordinator. Submitted applications are answered within 48 hours. We are on Central Standard Time year round, with no daylight saving.
The month you are considering, whether you have sat with ayahuasca before, any prescription you take daily, and the one thing that is making you hesitate. Four lines is enough. That last item is the most useful, because it is usually the question the rest of the website failed to answer.
No. There is no automated sequence, no drip campaign and no sales call booking link. If you email and then go quiet, we assume you decided against it and you will not hear from us again unless you write back.
Yes, and many people should. Write the medication name and dose and the physician will tell you whether it is a taper, a full stop or no issue, before you spend time on a 34 question application. That answer is free and carries no obligation.
Say so in the email and we will point you at one of our Peru houses in Cusco, Pisac or Iquitos, or at another center entirely if none of ours fits. We run five houses, so recommending a different one costs us nothing and saves you a difficult week in the wrong place.
Four lines is plenty: the month, whether you have sat before, anything you take daily, and the thing making you hesitate. You will get a real answer, from a named person, with no sequence behind it.
